I am very sad to say that the fashion world has suffered a major loss with the death of the controversial British designer Alexander McQueen. McQueen was one of my favorite designers in the world, and, even though I was never able to afford any of his pieces, I know that what he created were masterpieces and I feel like on this day, I lost a fashion friend.

With NYFW debuting today, Alexander McQueen’s death is even more of a blow. I would like to share Alexander McQueen’s last show with you which showcased his 2010 Spring/Summer collection. The fashion world has lost a legend and a friend, but he will never be forgotten. Although he is no longer with us, his designs continue to inspire thousands and will always be indicative of individuality, creativity, and passion. RIP.
