When thinking about the way you dress, consider a few important things. Do these clothes fit you properly? Do they fit your size and shape? Just because something is in style doesn’t necessarily mean that it looks good on all body types, so be careful how you choose your clothing.
When you want to appear slimmer, there are alot of simple things you can do to make your silhouette look a little leaner.
First and foremost, remember that black is a slimming color, but also remember that you can’t just wear all black…moderation is the key.
Horizontal stripes on a top or pants will widen your body. Vertical lines, however will elongate your shape, making you appear thinner.
Dress for your shape: know what looks good on you and what doesn’t. Be conscious of your style. Patterns will not help your silhouette whatsoever, especially big patterns. It will draw attention to your problem areas.
Instead, stick to clothing that doesn’t draw too much attention to the bulging areas. Other great things you can do to appear slimmer is use body shapers. They’re great for hiding tummy bulges and helps you fit better into your clothes.
