Spring is giving us the re-birth of patterns, and not just a few select ones. I’m talking about the whole package because this season it is all about expressing yourself in your very best clothes. That means that you can get creative with your styles, but not too crazy of course. Take patterns into your own hands and make it something good!

I’ve mentioned in a previous post, that florals are now very popular for spring as are all other patterns. And one rule that you must master this season is to learn how to combine these patterns. You don’t have to wear them separately any longer! This time, you can mix and match all kinds of patterns. Inspire yourself by looking through some magazines and even fashion shows will give you just the right amount of info for this new trend.

So if you’re a big fan of florals, you’re in luck this year. We will start seeing more and more floral patterns are the weather warms up. I especially love wearing floral tops because they remind me of the country side. Pair that with light blue jeans or a peasant skirt. You’ll look very boho chic.

But like I said, don’t be afraid to mix and match. You don’t have to stick to the old rule. Try something crazy instead. Pair your navy stripped pants with a floral top. Trust me, you will love it. As long as you’re creative, the possibilities are endless. Just remember to walk away from that comfort zone in a while which can keep us prisoners of our own styles!

While you’re out this weekend, don’t forget to pick up a few patterned items such as accessories and bags. You will find plenty of patterned items, guaranteed! Stripes, horizontals, florals, and pretty much any kind of pattern you can think of is out there!

So don’t be afraid to mix and match. Of course, you must first try it out and see how it works. And if it does, then voila! You’ve just created your very own pattern mix!
