This summer it is all about futuristic fashions combined with old, classic looks, and bold, bright colors. On the runways, designers have opted for big, airy pieces such as voluminous tops as well as skirts, with lots of color, and glossy, shinny fabrics.

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, yellow is definitely making a huge splash into the fashion world. It’s not just for little accessories anymore, but in full dresses, suits, skirts, pants, and bags as well.

Shiny fabrics are all over the runways, including metallics, and sheer fabrics such as silk and satin. These shiny fabrics should be worn one item at a time, and toned down with minimal makeup and accessories.
