If you’re not quite sure what’s on the fashion list for 2009, there is no better place to look than the Oscars. I’m not a mind-reader or anything like that, so I can’t quite say what will be in and what will be out for this new year, but what I can tell you is that celebrities will go all out at the Oscars.
When you’re watching the Oscars this season, make a mental note as to what color palettes were used, what sort of fabrics and most importantly if YOU think they were a hit or a miss. Just because Angelina Jolie donned an outfit that you might not like, doesn’t mean you have to follow it. Instead, pick out a few styles that you loved and get inspired from there.
Of course you won’t necessarily be sporting an haute couture frock while going grocery shopping but that’s not to say that you can’t get a little inspirations from these creations and come up with something new and original.
If you’re not the risk-taking type, just keep an eye out on the dominant traits such as accessories for example or colors.
