Blowdry Your Hair Straight

For those who have thick, coarse hair it can be hard to get that sleek, straight hair. Even for those those who have fine hair, it can be a tricky thing not only to get the hair as pin straight as possible, but to get rid of the frizz as well. Follow these tips on how to blowdry your hair straight, and you’ll have perfect pin straight hair in no time.

Start off by washing your hair with a fortifying shampoo such as Garnier Sleek and Straight. These shampoos get rid of the friziness and make sure that your hair is on its best behavior. Follow with a deep conditioner- it will calm your hair down, get rid of the frizz and make it sleek and shiny.

Don’t towel dry your hair. If you wish, leave your hair wrapped in the towel for a little bit, but just make sure you don’t rub the towel against your hair which will cause friction and give you bad end results.

Use an anti-frizz serum on your hair-they work like magic. Comb your hair so that the serum spreads as evenly on your hair as possible. Next, make sure you have a large round bristle brush and a blow drier with a nozzle.

Blow dry your hair using the round brush and aiming the nozzle down towards your hair. If you aim the nozzle directly at your hair, or upwards, it will make your hair frizzy, so just make sure you hold it downwards. The round bristle brush will work wonders on your hair because it will help keep the hair straight and in place.

Blow dry your entire head using the brush, and when you’re done, you can use a flat iron if you have one. For best results, spritz a shine enhancer on your hair, and voila you’re ready to go! straight-hair.jpg
