Get Healthy Hair
-
Think about the damage your hair has gone through this past year. At least for most of us, it’s been through hell; blow-drying, straightening, perms, coloring, etc…the list goes on and on. Every product we use on our hair also has damaging effects, and therefore leaves the hair dry, weak and brittle.
The best way to get your hair back on track to its natural, healthy form is to start from the beginning. Follow this routine religiously for about a month, and I guarantee your hair will be back to its natural shine, and it will be as healthy as ever.
Start off by chopping off those split ends. I know it’s hard to say goodbye to those few extra inches that make your hair look soooo much longer, but trust me, it’ll be worth it in the end. Next, splurge on a good clarifying shampoo like Neutrogena. It will remove all the build up that’s been caused by all the other products.
Until your hair is back to its healthy state, try steering clear of any products such as mousse, hair spray, anti frizz, etc. Your hair needs a break. Also, it’s very important that you don’t use any chemicals on your hair. That means no perming or coloring.
This will be the hardest step of all, but very worth it. No blow-drying. No straightening. No curling. The heat puts major stress on your hair follicles, leaving them dry and brittle. Your hair needs to be left alone for a while and get hydrated again.

My hair is very thick, coarse and curly.
I’ve straightened it every day for the past two years.
Tie it back in a bun or in a chunky plait for a month.

It can be difficult but yeah, put it up in a cute and a bit messy bun. :] It really does help the hair in the end. ;] Trust me.

I went on a holiday to spain in the summer and my mum accidently on purpose hid my straighteners and hair dryers. It was a night mare as my hair is really frizzy wavy and puffy ,so i tied my hair inn a pony tail and added a few fake hair ,and put a hat on.
Now im glad that she left my straighteners as my hair is so much more glossy now.
