How to Fix Fried Hair

Posted on July 5th, 2007 in Hair How-Tos by Jackie

Fixing dry, damaged, fried hair can be a difficult thing to achieve especially if you’ve let your hair in that condition for a long time. The strands are basically burnt, which means they lack moisture.

The first thing you can do is use a deep conditioner twice a week. Get a product that contains keratin which softens up your strands from the roots to the ends. Make sure you use it twice a week. Let the product sit on for about 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

Another thing you can do is use conditioner and a blow dryer. Look for products that contains cetyl alcohol which helps the hair retain moisture. Comb the conditioner through damp hair and blow dry for about 15 minutes.
