Wavy Hair
Waves are all the rage this year! They’re easy to make, and have a very natural look about them. Waves work on anyone who has medium shoulder-length hair to long hair. Waves not only look great on everyone, but add volume and texture to your hair. Follow these tips on how to get the perfect wavy beach hair.
Start off by washing your hair with a volumizing shampoo. Next, apply conditioner to the ends of the hair only– conditioner on your roots will flatten your hair, so keep that in mind.Leave the conditioner on your ends for about 5 minutes, and rinse with warm water. Make sure the water isn’t too hot as it can make your hair very frizzy.
Towel dry your hair and apply a volumizing mousse all throughout your hair. Comb the mousse through your hair so that every strand is coated. Start blowdrying your hair using a nozzle or an infuser. This will give you extra bounce and volume. Blowdry hair upside down, scrunching your hair as you go along.
For extra waves, curl a 2 inch section of your hair around your finger while blowdrying and hold for a few seconds. Repeat all over. For a little hold, spray an aerosol hairspray and add a shine enhancer for extra shine.
