These DIY shine sprays will focus on 3 different types of hair goals: a shine spray for lightening hair, a shine spray for smoothing hair, and a shine spray for strength and volume.

Hair Lightening Shine Spray

This particular shine spray is great for those with lighter hair as it mimics the sun's hair lightening effects, giving your hair a subtle, but very beautiful light to it. The citrus juice and chamomile in this shine spray are both natural lighteners, while the almond oil will add mega shine.

You'll Need:

  • 2 cups of water
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 tsps almond oil
  • 10 drops chamomile essential oil

Directions:

In a spray bottle, combine all ingredients and shake well. Spray directly onto dry or wet hair a few times a week. Shake well before every use.

Smoothing Shine Spray

This smoothing shine spray is perfect for humid days or if your hair tends to get very frizzy. The aloe vera in this mixture will lock all the moisture in and add some serious shine.

You'll Need:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp aloe vera juice
  • 2 tbsp rose water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable glycerin

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Use as needed on wet or dry hair. Shake well before each use.

Volumizing & Strengthening Shine Spray

This volumizing and strengthening shine spray will add much volume and strength to weak, damaged hair. The lauric acid in coconut oil helps rebuild the hair and adds a ton of shine and moisture. Rosemary essential oil will also strengthen the roots and encourage faster hair growth.

You'll Need:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 5 drops rosemary essential oil

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Apply directly to wet hair after showering and brush and style as usual. Shake well before each use.
