Summer brings us many fun things, but there is also a downside concerning your skin during those hot summer months. Your skin gets oilier and those horrible pimples tend to pop up as well. Here’s an at-home recipe for an acne-fighting mask that I’ve tried a few times, and really liked. It’s pretty easy to make and actually does the job. Now of course if you have sever acne, you should probably just contact your dermatologist, but for a few pimples here and there, this does the trick!

Oily Skin Treatment

Here’s an amazing recipe that will help you get rid of oily skin. It’s easy to make, and it leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean!

INGREDIENTS
6 oz plain yogurt
2 drops of thyme oil
2 drops of mint oil
Juice from 1 lemon
½ packet of yeast
2 Tbsp of starch from potatoes (let potatoes sit in water for several hours; use 2 Tbsp of the milky water)

DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients in food processor. Apply to entire face paying particular attention to pimples and blackheads. Leave the mask on for ten to twenty minutes. Rinse.

So why not make your own invigorating bath salt? Perfect for a hot summer day, or just when you want to relax, this concoction will have your head spinning with relaxation.

Make an infusion by pouring 4 cups boiling water over 2 cups fresh peppermint (or any variety of mint) leaves and stems.
