Can't afford to shell out big bucks on super expensive creams? Now you don't have to. There are plenty of at-home recipes that you can easily do yourself, on a very low budget. Not only are they wonderful for your skin, but most high-end creams have these ingredients that quench your skin like no tomorrow.

One of the best at-home treatments you can do is a full on pedicure treatment. Now you may know how to do your toe nails but what you probably didn't know is that you can pour warm whole milk into the pedicure basin during the treatment. The lactic acid in milk softens the skin as well as any store-bought product.

You can also whip up your own in shower exfoliator. Just add a little bit of sugar to your shower cream and rub all over your body in circular motion. Not only will this smell amazing, but the gritty sugar beads will slough away any dead skin.

Make your body cream even more useful by adding a bit of honey to make it even more moisturizing. The honey in it will get deep inside your skin, for ultra softness.

Another thing you can do is squeeze half a lemon into the bath. The juice in the lemon has natural acids that will brighten up your skin.
