Get a Golden Glow

Posted on August 24th, 2007 in Makeup by Aniela

It’s hard to get the perfect tan these days. With all this talk about the sun being bad for you (and it is!), you have to stick to other options such as creams, bronzers, etc. Follow these tips to get a beautiful golden glow.

Start by getting your complexion ready- apply a dusting of loose or pressed powder. If you wish to use a cream or gel bronzer, wait to set with powder until after step 2.

If you’re using a powder bronzer, make sure to use the biggest brush you can find. Use a makeup sponge or your fingertips to apply cream or gel bronzers and make sure to blend well. You want to get that sun kissed face, so don’t apply it to your entire face. Instead, just stick to your forehead, the apples of your cheeks, your nose, and your chin.

Apply a shimmery neutral eyeshadow to the entire lid. Leave the brow bone area bare. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler and brush on a coat of mascara.

Finish off with a sweep of copper brown lip gloss or a sheer lipstick.golden makeup
