Makeup is a very fun tool to use when we feel we need a little improvement, or just to make ourselves feel better. Of course nowadays, it’s hard to step out of the house without putting on a little makeup. And as you may or may not know, the best makeup trick there is out there is to make it look like you’re not wearing any at all! So how do you achieve natural looking makeup?

Start off with a clean face. Apply a good moisturizer. Follow with a foundation (make sure it matches your skin tone.). Apply just a touch of blush- don’t make it obvious that you have blush on. Just a hint of color on your cheeks is enough.

The secret is to not overdo it. Play up your features by accentuating them with just the right amount of makeup. So if you want fuller lips, choose a neutral lip liner (one that is just one shade darker than your actual lips). Fill it in with a very light pink lipstick and finish off with a clear gloss.

Now that your lips are perfect, it’s time for the eyes. Don’t go crazy with color if you want a natural look. Neutral colors are the key here. So use browns, greens, and purples to bring out your eye color and swipe on a coat of mascara.

Use an eyebrow pencil to groom your brows. Use an eyebrow brush to brush your eyebrows upwards and then back down into place. Use the pencil to fill in any voids.
