Summer is finally here, and we all need to get ready and face the months that await us. Bathing suits, short shorts and skirts all need our attention since we need to get a little color in our legs, or loose those last few pounds. But of course, we can’t ignore our beautiful lips, so we need a regimen to get our puckers ready for summer too!

PREP

Get those super soft, kissable lips by starting off right. Prep your lips by using a homemade sugar and honey scrub to exfoliate your lips before putting on any products. This will ensure that your lips look soft and healthy. Moisturize them by applying an oil-free moisturizer on top.

APPLY

This season sparkle in the hottest lip color: cherry bold colors. They exude confidence and sexiness, so don’t skip out on it! Whenever you’re wearing a shade that demands so much attention, you need to make sure it is applied perfectly. For best results, use a matching liner to avoid feathering. Follow up with an opaque lipstick on the top and bottom with a lip brush for good control and precision.

SET

You’re almost done, hang in there! Take a one-ply tissue and press it over the lips. Apply a translucent powder on top. It will make the lipstick matte and will lock in the color.
