Mineral makeup is super easy to use and frankly, it is ALL I use, so that is why I’d like to recommend it for everyone because it’s just the best thing you can get from makeup! It’s a perfect way to achieve flawless skin.
Start by applying a mineral concealer to hid all of your trouble spots. It covers really well and the brush allows you to conceal dark circles under the eyes easily, especially when you use a flat brush. The tip of the brush is perfect for concealing little imperfections.
Next, apply a mineral makeup, preferably one that is a powder and a foundation at the same time. These products are great because they offer the coverage of a foundation but the lightness of a powder.
Apply the foundation in circles starting from the T-zone in the middle of the face then blending outwards. A quick sweep of blush over the cheekbones creates a natural flush. And to finish, a translucent powder such as a soft mineral focus or finishing veil product will allow all the products to blend seamlessly and set naturally.

I too love mineral makeup
My only problem with is it if your skin isn’t perfectly moisturized your skin can look a bit…well powdery. I moisturize than directly after apply my make up.lol on a side note I love how the models skin is seriously photo touched…hahaha
Hi Sarah,
I can understand your problem. I have been selling makeup for 35 years (yes, I hate to admit it) however, I have applied many makeups on all skin types, with the original loose powder with talc, new mineral makup with talc, and vegan mineral makeup with NO talc, (such as my own label Past.Present.Future Artistry cosmetics). Back to your problem of the “powdery effect”, This can be solved by using a fine spray mist (I sell a rose spray mist) that adds WATER, not OIL to your skin. With this spray your “Powdery looks” gets an even more air-brushed effect. This is applied during and after the application. Another tip as well, when applying your mineral makeup, are you using a mineral powder primer? This is really important, to achieve that perfect air brush look, and it covers up a multitude of sins!!! It is truly amazing (mine of course)
I am only saying this because I have applied just about every mineral cosmetic made in Australia and overseas, and the one that I sell, made in South Australia, with no talc, no nasties goes on like silk, and it works fantastic as a base to put over your moisturiser, because if you don’t use a powder primer under the mineral powder, the powder “grabs” to the OIL in the moisturiser, therefore, and uneven application. I could go on, but check out my site for more info. I have plenty, and believe me, I have experienced every kind of problem in makeup and skin-care you could ever possibly imagine (since I’ve been around for a while !! ha ha
