The Eyeshadow Guideline

By Aniela / August 28, 2007

Eyeshadow is the fun part of makeup. It lets you choose your color, it lets you choose the design, and let's not forget it makes your eyes look amazing (only if you know how of course!) There are different kinds of eyeshadows out there and every one is used for a different purpose.

Eyeshadow Powder

Eyeshadow powder is the most popular of eyeshadows; it's basically the easiest to use, and that's pretty much all you need. It's good for all skin types and super easy to apply. For a more professional look, use an eyeshadow brush or a sponge-tip applicator.

Eyeshadow Crayon

Eyeshadow crayon gives your more control when applying it. Swipe the crayon over your lids and smudge with your fingertips to blend it in. You can also use eyeshadow crayons as eyeliners if they're not too thick.

Eyeshadow Liquid or Cream

Although liquid and cream eyeshadows take some getting used to, they look stunning. It's a little tricky to blend, and may cause creases. Apply it with a brush or with your fingertips. As for the crease, apply a little bit of foundation before applying the eyeshadow and set it with some pressed powder.eyeshadow
