Aspirin & Honey Remedy

Aspirin, rich is salicylic acid, treats and prevents ingrown hairs, while honey is an amazing antiseptic, anti bacterial, and hydration element. In a small bowl, crush 3 un-coated aspirin, 1 tsp honey, and 1/2-1 tsp water. Mix it all together, and apply the paste to the affected area. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off.

Tea Tree Oil Remedy

Tea tree oil is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic. This means that it's great at fighting off bacteria and prevents it too. In a bowl with warm water, add 20 drops of tea tree oil and mix well. Dip a clean, soft washcloth into the bowl and apply to the affected area. Do this 2-3 times a day.

Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub

The sugar will help remove dead skin cells, which are the leading cause of ingrown hairs, while the coconut oil hydrates, disinfects, and calms the skin. In a bowl, mix 1 cup sugar with 1/2 cup coconut oil, and 10 drops of tea tree oil. While in the shower, massage the scrub onto the affected areas in slow, circular motions and rinse off with warm water.
