How to Look Tanned
You want to look tanned, but you most likely don’t want to sit out in the harmful sun for hours, burning your skin, and catching the possibility of skin cancer or something even worse. The sun has some powerful rays and the damage that it can do to your skin (not to mention pre-mature aging) is more than enough to keep you out of it. So what are some things that you can do to avoid sitting in the sun, but still look tanned?
First off, you can do the obvious thing by slathering on some self-bronzers, creams, oils, whatever you have. A lot of people don’t like this option because you have to re-apply so often, and a lot of the products look fake, or leave streaks. Now my favorite product has to be Neutrogena Micro Mist because it’s a very fine mist spray and it doesn’t leave streaks or an ugly orange color. I’ve tried numerous other products and they just didn’t do any justice- this one, in my opinion, is the best. ![]()
You can also opt for bronzers (this is mostly for your face and neck area). A good bronzer will work magic on your skin, as well as a good brush too! Swipe it onto the apples of your cheeks, going up all the way to the ears, as well as on your forehead, nose, chin, and neckline. This will give you a freshly tanned, healthy look.
Lastly, if you just want to add a little sparkle to your skin, all you have to do is get out some tanning oil, and apply it sparingly to your skin. This will give your skin a little glow, and will make it look as if you’ve sat out in the sun all day!
