DIY Deep Pore Cleanser
For this recipe, you will need some very basic ingredients that when put together, bring a very large range of benefits. (Those of you with very sensitive or dry skin must use this with caution.)
You'll Need:
Apple Cider Vinegar- Tones the skin by balancing pH levels. Apple cider vinegar is full of beta-carotene which is actually a chemical that our bodies turns into Vitamin A. Vitamin A helps to prevent future skin damage by making the skin cells strong and keeping our immune system young. (Not only can apple cider vinegar be used as a topical treatment to treat damaged skin, it can also be drunk daily for a replenished inside. Acne and other skin problems have a lot to do with what is going on inside your body too.)
Lemon- Another important ingredient is lemon, which tones, hydrates, and brings vitamins and minerals profoundly under the skin's top layer with its acidic properties. Lemon has been used as a beauty product for so many years and for so many different things. It is a fantastic cleaning agent as it removes stains, dark spots and redness. It is also an excellent disinfectant as it dries up bad bacteria.
Baking soda- This fine powder exfoliates, reduces redness and inflammation also balances pH levels. It dries the skin of excess sebum (what clogs our pores to bring us pimples and blackheads), and even fades dark scars and under-eye bags. This is because it brings lots of blood circulation to the face which helps the skin create new skin cells once the dead ones have been wiped away by the same baking soda.
Directions:
- Put one large table spoon of baking soda in a small bowl.
- Mix in a teaspoon and a half of apple cider vinegar.
- Add a teaspoon of lemon juice and a few drops of water.
- Blend around until it is a smooth paste.
- Put the mixture on your face and very slightly massage in circles for a moment.
- Leave for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Rinse with water.
Since this deep pore cleanser is extremely strong, the mixture should only be used about two or three times a month. If you have very sensitive skin please test on a small area. A slight burning and redness during and after the treatment may appear, but this is normal as it is killing bacteria and exposing fresh skin .
