Mascara is one of the most important makeup items that you can own. It opens up your eyes like nothing else and let's face it, you'd be toast without one. Unfortunately, there isn't just one kind of mascara so it can be hard to choose the right one for your. Below are some guidelines that will help you choose the right mascara for your lashes.
Thickening Mascara
Well the name says it all: thickening mascara thickens your lashes making them look thicker and voluminous. The bad thing about thickening mascaras is they tend to clump, so make sure you swipe the wand against a tissue before applying.
Lengthening Mascara
Lengthening mascara does what is says: it elongates your lashes. Make sure you don't cheap out on lengthening mascaras as the cheaper ones may cause your lashes to break.
Waterproof Mascara
Waterproof mascara is great if you're wearing it while you work out or if you just tend to be emotional at times. This mascara is smudgeproof and of course, waterproof. Avoid wearing this mascara every time as it can cause the lashes to break.
Conditioning Mascara
The least popular of mascaras is the conditioning mascara as not a lot of people even think of buying it. The great thing about it is that it conditions your lashes with Vitamin E so you can safely wear it every day.
Clear Mascara
Clear mascara is well…clear. It doesn't make much of a difference but if you prefer the natural look, this might be a good choice for you.
