Made with avocado and honey, this DIY hair mask nourishes even the driest of hair and will restore shine. Use it on a regular basis (at least three times a week) for a period of at least a month to encourage healthy hair growth.
- 1 medium sized avocado (ripe)
- 2 tbsp honey
Mash a ripe avocado and mix in with the honey. Apply to dry hair, massaging gently into scalp in slow, circular motions. Leave on for at least half an hour and rinse out. Shampoo and condition as normal.
#2. Papaya Hair Mask for Hair Growth
This super powerful papaya hair mask targets the roots to encourage hair growth, fix damaged hair, and strengthen hair strands. Use at least three times a week over the course of 1-2 months.
- 1/2 cup ripe papaya pulp
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp raw honey
In a blender, add all ingredients. Blend until the mixture becomes a paste-like consistency. Apply to damp hair and massage into scalp in slow, circular motions. Cover with a shower cap or a towel and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse out and repeat 2-3 times a week.

- 8-10 fresh hibiscus flowers
- 3-4 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- a few drops of rosemary essential oil (optional)
In a blender, add the hibiscus flowers along with the yogurt and a little bit of water. Blend until a smooth paste forms. Add in the honey and rosemary and pulse again. Apply to dry hair, massaging into scalp in slow, circular motions. Leave on for at least 30 minutes and rinse out. Repeat 2-3 times a week.
