Taking care of your hair and apply a mask at least once a week can ensure that your hair stays healthy, soft, and vibrant all the time. Along with a few other things, such as reducing the amount of heat tools, and not washing hair every day, hair masks can literally transform your hair from drab to fab!

#1. Dry Hair Mask

For those with dry hair, this mask will hydrate from roots to tips and leave hair soft, shiny, and bouncy!

Mix honey and oil and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Leave on for 15-30 minutes and cover with a shower cap. Rinse out with shampoo and follow up with conditioner. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

#2. Brittle Hair Mask

Brittle, breaking hair, can lead to hair loss, but use this mask on a regular basis and watch your hair get stronger within 1 week!

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup room temperature milk

Mix honey and milk until well combined. Apply to dry, unwashed hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse out. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

#3. Split Ends Mask

To an end to split ends with this hair mask that will hydrate and heal in a pinch!

Mix all ingredients together and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover with a shower cap and let sit for 30 minutes. Wash out and repeat 2-3 times a weeks.

#4. Frizzy Hair Mask

Frizzy, unruly hair can be a pain in the butt, this simple, yet very effective mask will fix that!

  • 1/2 a banana
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp almond oil

Mash the banana with a fork and mix in the other ingredients. Massage mask through hair and let sit for 20 minutes. Rinse out and repeat 2-3 times a week.

#5. Oily Hair

Oily hair can cause limp, lifeless locks, and this is one of the best hair masks we've ever tried to combat that issue!

  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 tsp almond oil
  • 1/4 cup oats

In a blender or food processor, pulse all ingredients until a smooth, paste like consistency appears. Apply to dry, unwashed hair and leave on for 20-25 minutes. Rinse out and repeat 2-3 times a week.
