I know, I know. This one isn't really that easy to follow, but just TRY it. Exercising becomes easier the more you do it. And did you know that it can also become addicting? #2. Stop Smoking
If you smoke, you already know the dangers associated with it, so I'm not going to go into great detail. But if your skin is less than perfect, smoking may be a HUGE reason why. So find whatever works best for you and try to quit smoking.
#3. Wear Sunscreen
Wearing sunscreen is so crazy important, that I cannot stress it enough. Even in the winter or when it's cloudy, the sun's rays STILL penetrate and can harm your skin. You'll get dark spots, a splotchy skin tone, and not to mention the dangers of skin cancer. Also, wearing sunscreen every day will prevent wrinkles from forming. So many benefits!
#4. Wash off Your Makeup
Never, ever, ever go to bed with your makeup on. It's just a playground for bacteria to grow on. Always try to have a routine before bed where you wash your face and apply a moisturizer. If you're super duper tired, place a box of makeup removing wipes next to your bed and just wipe it off – it's still better than nothing!
#5. Don't Pick Your Zits
I know it's super tempting, especially when it's one that looks like it's ready to give, but just don't! You'll end up spreading more bacteria around your skin and the risk of scarring is very high. All of those foods are amazing for your skin, so the more you eat them, the more beautiful your complexion will be! #8. Exfoliate Weekly
It's very important to remove the dead skin cells that build up on your face. It makes way for fresh, new skin that isn't laden with dirt and bacteria. I like to use baking soda with water to exfoliate because it's cheap, easy, and works very well!
