I say definitely not! When it comes to beauty, there is virtually nothing that you can't do at home..especially taking care of your skin. So here are some cheap and natural ways you can lighten your skin and have a beautiful, glowing complexion!

How to Lighten Your Skin Naturally

Sunblock

Sunblock

It's no mystery that sunblock should be your best friend! So before heading out to school or work in the morning, make sure you apply at least an SPF 15 to your hands and face as they are prime areas for age spots. If you wear foundation, find one with an SPF to lighten up your load.

Make Your Own Mask

Licorice extract is a great way to lighten your skin since it's actually a natural skin lightener. Just apply a thin layer in the morning after cleansing and before moisturizing, and another layer before bed. Make sure to store in a cool, dark place. You can purchase licorice extract at health food stores or online.
