These two ingredient skin savers are everything you need in your skin care routine. Not only cheap and easy to make, but also extremely effective. And did I mention that these two ingredient skin savers can be made right now with stuff you already have?!? Genius! So let's get cracking and check out these two ingredient skin savers you'll want to use immediately!
2 Ingredient Skin Savers
#1. Vaseline + White Sugar = Lip Exfoliator
Mix 1 tsp white sugar and a few drops of vaseline until it forms a paste-like consistency. Rub onto your lips a few times a week to get rid of dead skin cells and reveal super soft lips. The vaseline adds a layer of moisture to dry, chapped lips, while the white sugar works hard to remove dead skin cells.
#2. Honey + Olive Oil = Skin Moisturizer
Mix equal parts honey and olive oil to form a lotion-like consistency. After exfoliating your face, apply this silky moisturizer to your face and neck. Leave on for 20 minutes and remove with a warm washcloth. The honey contains amazing anti-oxidant properties while the olive oil injects a ton of moisture into the skin.
#3. Egg Yolk + Lemon Juice = Redness Erasing Mask
Mix 1 egg yolk with a few drops of freshly squeezed (preferably organic) lemon juice. Apply to face and neck and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water and pat dry. Repeat every other day until redness subsides. The egg yolk works to tighten skin, while the lemon juice is an amazing eraser of redness and dark spots.
#4. Honey + Brown Sugar = Face & Body Exfoliator
Depending on how much you'd like to make, adjust the quantities. For just the face, mix 1 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tsp honey. If you feel like the consistency is too thick, add a little bit more honey. Mix well and in slow, circular motions apply to skin. Rinse off and pat dry. The brown sugar works as a natural exfoliator while the honey provides much needed moisture.
