Looking to whiten your teeth on the cheap? This DIY teeth whitening tutorial works like a charm and uses all natural ingredients!

Going to get your teeth whitened is a pretty costly thing, and those whitening strips can be even more expensive and not even work! Thankfully, there are many ways you can whiten your teeth by yourself with items that you probably already have!

DIY Teeth Whitening

I've been using this method of tooth whitening for years, and people always ask me “How come your teeth are always so white?” and “You must have a really good dental plan!”, but nope! I just did a little bit of research and found that the BEST way to whiten your teeth is in the comfort of your own home with some of the cheapest products ever!

So here's what you'll need:

1 teaspoon Toothpaste

1 teaspoon Hydrogen Peroxide

1 tablespoon Baking Soda

Splash of Water

Directions:

In a small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon toothpaste, 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide, and 1 tablespoon baking soda. Stir the mixture until it becomes a paste-like consistency (kind of like toothpaste). If necessary, add water or more baking soda to get the right consistency. Apply paste to your toothbrush and brush as you would normally. Because this is a teeth whitening procedure, put a timer on and brush for about 2 minutes.

Results:

You should see results immediately. Take a picture of your teeth before the brushing and a picture after the brushing – you'll see a difference! Follow this regimen once a week for no more than 4 weeks at a time. Using this mixture too often can cause the enamel to be stripped off, therefore it is recommended that you only use this method sparsely.
