Is there anything more annoying than blackheads? We think not! While squeezing blackheads can be fun, the sad truth is that sometimes, there's just too many of them, and simply not enough time! So what's a girl to do? Those Biore nose strips ARE satisfying, but they're also not the cheapest and they don't always work. That's where this homemade blackhead eraser comes in: it's cheap, it's fast, and it works!
Homemade Blackhead Eraser Recipe
This homemade blackhead eraser contains all natural ingredients (which we LOVE) and it's super easy to make! This recipe is made up of pineapple, white sugar, and yogurt. The pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain which works to get rid of dead skin cells (a major culprit of clogged/enlarged pores AND blackheads). Yogurt reduces inflammation and also moisturizes, while the white sugar exfoliates the skin, pulling out blackheads and revealing baby soft, younger looking skin.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
Directions:
- In a blender, combine the pineapple and yogurt and pulse on low to medium speed until a smooth consistency has formed.
- Pour pineapple yogurt mixture into a bowl and mix in white sugar.
- Massage onto clean, makeup-free face in slow, circular motions.
- Concentrate on the affected areas such as nose and chin.
- Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
Steam Method:
Before massaging the face with the homemade blackhead eraser, open up the pores with a steam facial.
After just the first application, your skin should feel smoother and cleaner. You'll also notice a significant decrease in blackheads, but use apply the blackhead eraser twice a week and you should be blackhead free within a couple of weeks!
This scrub is not to be saved, but rather to be used immediately. If you have any leftovers, you can go ahead and use it as a body scrub!
