This oatmeal and coconut oil face mask is simply amazing! If you've been breaking out lately like I have, this is the mask you need in your life right now! If you don't already know, coconut oil is a great thing to have in your home, especially if you're beauty obsessed! Most DIY recipes incorporate coconut oil for its healing properties and it really does a number on acne prone skin! I can't begin to tell you how smooth and silky this mask left my face, but it was also amazing on my body! Make sure to use any of the leftover mask to exfoliate rough areas of your body!
DIY Oatmeal and Coconut Oil Mask
You'll Need:
- 2-3 tbsp plain oatmeal
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
- Muddle the oatmeal until it becomes fairly fine.
- Then, mix in your coconut oil and apply to a clean face and neck.
- Leave on for 20 minutes, and take it off by rubbing it into your skin to exfoliate.
- Rinse off and pat dry.
- If you have any leftover, rub it onto your body to exfoliate – it will leave your skin feeling silky soft!
This mask is great for anyone with oily skin, acne prone skin, aging skin, and even drying skin! Actually, this is a face mask for ALL faces! Because coconut oil is super moisturizing, it will do wonders for wrinkles and fine lines as well as dry skin. The combination of both coconut oil and oatmeal works together as a super mask!
