You know those fine lines you sometimes wake up with on your face? Those are called sleep wrinkles and they're horrible for your complexion. Today we'll show you how to prevent wrinkles while you sleep! When you're young, those fine lines that appear on your face after you've woken up disappear. But, as time passes and you get older, they'll actually stay there for good since your skin won't be able to “bounce back”.
So this is a warning to all of those side and stomach sleepers: those pillow wrinkles will eventually make their way onto your skin permanently! Scary thought, right?
So what can you do to prevent wrinkles while you sleep? Simply train yourself to sleep on your back. Sleeping on your back is not only good for your skin, but also for your spine too. That's easier said than done though, right? But just like with anything, it takes practice.
Copper-threaded pillows as well as satin sheets and pillowcases have shown to reduce the amount of lines, so until you can train yourself to sleep on your back, those would be good starter options.
The compression of the pillow or bedding against your face is something you can easily prevent so why wouldn't you? Along with a good skin care routine, lots of water, exercise, and a good diet, wrinkles could have a bleak existence into your future.

That’s not helpful if you suffer with sleep apnea as I do. I stop breathing when I sleep on my back and it’s truly scary.
