Repair Damaged Hair

By Aniela / May 22, 2007

There is nothing worse than having dry, frizzy hair. It's unmanageable, hard to work with, and simply impossible. You can shell out lots of dough for “top of the line” products and not always get anywhere, or you can try an all natural homemade remedy to repair your damaged hair.

Natural, organic ingredients are always best for your hair because they don't contain any chemicals and they don't dry out your hair. With this homemade hair repair, you naturally restore a healthy pH balance.

Here's what you will need: one banana and one tablespoon of olive oil. Simple as that! Put the two ingredients in a blender, until it becomes a mask-like consistency.

Apply the mask to dry, unwashed hair and cover with a shower cap. Wait about 15-30 minutes. Rinse out the mask, shampoo and condition your hair, and you're all set for beautiful, healthy looking hair without all the damage. healthy-hair2.jpg

Do you use regular cooking olive oil for this remedy? What would you say about using Extra Virgin Olive Oil in place of regular olive oil?
