5 Homemade Face Masks For All Skin Types

Making your own face masks is not only fun, but it can also save you a ton of money in the long run and save your skin. Whenever you apply a store-bought face mask you're also putting on a bunch of dyes, alcohol, and preservatives on your skin. In the long run, this can have an adverse effect on your skin. So why not make your own face masks, save money, and have your best skin ever? Today we're going to share with you 5 homemade face masks for all skin types: oily skin, dry skin, acne prone skin, aging skin, and pigmented skin.

5 Homemade Face Masks

#1. Oily Skin

  • 3 tbsp gram flour
  • 1 tbsp plain, organic yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Mix and apply to a clean face. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse off. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

#2. Dry Skin

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 tsp honey

Mash 1/2 ripe banana in a bowl and add in some honey. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and repeat 2-3 times a week for hydrated skin.

#3. Acne Prone Skin

  • 1 tbsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp milk

Mix all ingredients together and apply to a clean face. Leave on for 30 minutes and massage off. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Use 3 times a week to get rid of acne and prevent it.

#4. Pigmented Skin

  • 3 tbsp grated potato
  • 1 tbsp powdered oats
  • 1 tbsp honey

Mix all ingredients together and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off. Use 3 times a week to cure pigmented, uneven skin tone.

#5. Aging Skin

Mix all ingredients together and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse off. Use 3 times a week for best results.
